Grand Rapids' Deacon Kenneth Baldwin believed that no matter what trial we had to face, faith, family and community were the keys to enduring it. Throughout his life ‘Deacon Ken’ brought thousands of youth from Grand Rapids to youth conferences held by Franciscan University to experience a life-changing encounter with Jesus Christ.
To continue that legacy and provide the next generation with the opportunity to be formed and educated at Franciscan University, his family and friends established the Deacon Kenneth Baldwin Memorial Scholarship. This scholarship provides $5,000 in annual financial aid to a youth from the Grand Rapid’s diocese.
