Your gift to the Serra Vocations Fund helps young men at Franciscan University say yes to God by participating in the Priestly Discernment Program. This unique program allows them to grow together in holiness and virtue while listening for the “still, small voice” of a vocation to the priesthood or religious life. It also ensures they are academically well-prepared to seek admittance into a major seminary or religious community.
The St. Clare and St. Collette Scholarship also provides scholarship assistance to young women discerning consecrated life. Many of the women discerning religious life belong to Mary, Spouse of the Spirit Household. With their household sisters, these women pray, learn about religious life, and build relationships with the religious sisters on Franciscan’s campus.
Franciscan University has already formed more than 790 alumni now serving as priests, bishops, and religious brothers and sisters. With your help, we hope to send hundreds more to join them in their work of rebuilding and renewing the Church.
