Which funds can I support?
You can support a variety of funds at the University, including our Step In Faith Annual Giving Campaign, our Rebuild My Church Capital Campaign, Athletics, and more! Please check out our "Take A Step to Support" section to learn more about each initiative that we're including in this Giving Day.
Aside from giving, what can I do to help?
If you'd really like to go the extra mile, consider becoming one of our Giving Day Ambassadors. You'll receive a unique URL to share with your social networks, which will help track the impact you're making for Franciscan students! Learn more here. And, as always, please keep the University in your prayers. Thank you!
I won't be available on April 23, but I still want to give! What are my options?
Our Giving Day will be open from 7:00 pm ET on April 22 to 7:00 am ET on April 24, to make sure you can give at whatever time is most convenient for you. If you'd like, you can also mail a check to 1235 University Blvd, Steubenville, OH 43952. Just put "Giving Day" or “Be Light” in the memo line and we'll make sure it's counted!
Which forms of payment are accepted?
During #FUSGivingDay2024, we can accept gifts made through Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, Paypal, Venmo, and Apple Pay.
Can I donate using gifts of stock, my IRA, or a donor advised fund?
Of course! If you have questions about how to give by stock, your IRA, or a donor advised fund, please call (740) 283-6447, or email us at advancement@franciscan.edu, and we'll be sure to put you in touch with the right person.
Is my gift tax deductible?
Yes! Franciscan University of Steubenville is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit institution, and charitable gifts made to the University are tax deductible. The University's employer identification number (EIN) is 34-0714818.
Can I support multiple areas?
Yes! Just click "+ Add another gift to your donation" and select whichever other fund(s) you would like to support. No matter how many areas you choose support with your gift, you will only be charged once.
How can I know if my gift qualifies for a personalized brick outside the new Christ the Teacher Academic Building & Conference Center?
To qualify, your gift must be among the first 470 gifts of at least $100 to one of the following funds: Step in Faith Annual Campaign, St. Michael Scholarship Fund, Serra Vocations Fund, or Christ the Teacher Academic Building & Conference Center. With your permission, someone from the Advancement office will reach out after the conclusion of #FUSGivingDay2024 with details regarding the fulfillment of your personalized brick.
